"PP SPb MF" PLC representatives have visited the Republic of Korea as a part of delegation of St. Petersburg

Within the framework of the official visit to Busan, held from 11th to 15th of February, the meeting in the city government with the vice-mayor of Busan Kim Jong-hae has taken place, during which the sides discussed issues of cooperation between regions.

The members of the delegation, headed by the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg M. P. Mokretsov, were Saint Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development Chairman Andrey Mushkarev, Chairman of the St Petersburg Investments Committee Irina Babyuk, representatives of the International Relations Committee and also city business communities.

St. Petersburg and Busan are twin cities and have the status of the sea capital of the Russian Federation and South Korea. During the visit, the delegation from St. Petersburg visited the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Busan, the international port of Busan, «Hyundai» car factory in Ulsan and also held a meeting with the general director of the regional office of the Korea Tourism Organization

During the visit, the issues related to the prospects of bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed, including medicine, tourism, trade and investment activities.

This visit of the city administration and the business representatives was organized in anticipation of the upcoming official visit of Governor of St Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko to Busan in August this year, within which is expected to sign a number of bilateral agreements.
In particular, it is expected that the agreement will be signed on cooperation between the administrations of the Passenger port of St. Petersburg and the Port of Pusan.
