Passenger port of St. Petersburg has become a business platform within the framework of Marine Assembly 2017

From 3rd to 9th of July with support of the Committee for tourism development of St. Petersburg a number of events are held in the city within the framework of St. Petersburg Marine Assembly-2017. "PP SPb MF" PLC took a significant part in its organization, as well as in the Baltic Yacht Week 2017 business program, which is one of the constituent parts of the assembly.
 
On 6th of July within the framework of the Baltic Yacht Week 2017 business program, a round table "Yacht clubs of St. Petersburg in the realities of modern legislation" was held at Passenger port of St. Petersburg. The event began with an opening speech by Sergey Alekseev, President of the St. Petersburg Sailing Union, and Vadim Kashirin, the General Director of "Passenger port of St. Petersburg" Marine Facade" PLC.
 
The participants of the round table were representatives of yacht clubs and yachting industry, representatives of ports, professional yachtsmen and amateurs, representatives of customs structures. Among the participants were also foreign guests from Finland and Estonia. The total number of guests was more than 50 people.
 
 
 
 
During the event, representatives of the yachting community discussed such important issues as development of Water resources law and tax legislation, development of infrastructure for yachts and small boats, and popularization of sailing among young people. Among other things, during the event participants discussed such topical issues as arranging the reception of yacht tourists in St. Petersburg, the development of yacht clubs in Russia, Estonia and Finland, as well as joint projects in the field of yachting.
 
On 7th of July representatives of "PP SPb MF" PLC took part in the Conference "Development of water tourism in St. Petersburg", which was held at SUE «Vodokanal of St. Petersburg». Moderator of the discussion about the issues of attractiveness, safety and further development of water tourism in St. Petersburg was Alexey Panfilov - Commercial Director in “PP SPb MF” PLC. Separate presentations were also made on the projects implemented at Passenger port of St. Petersburg in order to increase the flow of cruise and ferry tourists.
 

Within the second part of the event, a regular meeting of the Gulf of Finland Maritime Assembly and the excursion to the Passenger port of St. Petersburg were held.
