Passenger port of St. Petersburg representatives participated in the opening ceremony of The Tall Ships Races 2017

On July 13th Passenger port of St. Petersburg representatives took part in the opening ceremony of one of the international sailing regatta The Tall Ships Races 2017 stages.

The grand ceremony was held on the territory of the Old Port of Kotka – Kantasatama. The regatta gathered about 70 sailboats from different parts of the world, including famous Russian sailboats such as Mir, Sedov, Standard and Kruzenshtern.
 
 

The sailing race started from Swedish city of Halmstad on July 3rd. Here in Kotka sailboats will stay for 4 days. On July 16th the ships will leave for Turku and then move to Klaipeda on 23rd. The regatta will end on 8th of August in Shezin, Poland.

We remind that "PP SPb MF" PLC cooperates with the Kotka Mayor and The Port of Hamina Kotka within the framework of the South-East Finland-Russia CBC 2014-2020 Programme.
