Representatives of the International Transport Workers’ Federation visited the passenger port of St. Petersburg

On February 13, 2020, the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg was visited by representatives of the International Transport Workers’ Federation (hereinafter referred to as the “ITF”).


The meeting was organized at the initiative of the Seafarers' Union of Russia, since according to the ITF representatives the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg is the most important specialized passenger port in the Baltic, along with Miami, Barcelona and Fort Lauderdale in other world regions. Within the framework of this meeting, the interaction of the parties on the organization of the ITF work on the territory of the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg with members of ship crews arriving in our city on cruise and ferry ships, social services for sailors, as well as prospects for cooperation between the ITF and “PP of SPb MF” PLC were considered.
Currently, the ITF is a federation recognized worldwide as a leading organization bringing together transport industry professionals.
