January 29th, 2016 procedure registration  order of  Rosgranitsa (Federal Agency for the Development of the State Border Facilities) № 337-OD. dated 28.12.2015  was completed at the Russian Ministry of Justice  “About the reconstruction of the marine cargo-passenger standing multilateral border crossing point across the state border of the Russian Federation at the seaport Passenger Port of St. Petersburg”

The specified order issued by Rosgranitsa to the development of RF Government Executive Order dated 13.03.2015 №413-r."About reclassification checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation at the seaport" Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "by the nature of international traffic from the passenger to cargo and passenger".
On an order about the reconstruction and in accordance with the road map implementation of project the operator of the marine terminal of "PP SPb MF" plans to develop the project documentation for 2016 and start to perform construction and assembly works as part of reconstruction the infrastructure of the checkpoint during 2016.

Putting into operation reconstructed objects checkpoint is scheduled in the first quarter of 2017.
As previously noted, cargo-passenger ferry service at the seaport Passenger Port of St. Petersburg will be organized on a regular basis after the commissioning of  central area of the Western High Speed Diameter and  completion of a complex of measures for the reconstruction of  infrastructure the checkpoint.
