The president of the Brazilian Academy of Medicine R. M. Guimaraes arrived to St. Petersburg.

Today, on May 7 the ex-president of the World Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, the current president of the Brazilian Academy of Medicine Dr. Renato Maia Guimarães arrived to St. Petersburg on a cruise ship «Celebrity Silhouette» with an unofficial visit. His name is recorded in the Book of honorable guests of St. Petersburg. With the assistance Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg, Dr. Guimaraes has organized cultural and excursion program for the next two days.
During his visit Dr. Guimaraes signed the Book of honorable guests of the Passenger port and noted that Saint Petersburg is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world and Russian culture is an outstanding universal value. He also noted the important role of the Port in the development of tourism in Russia and wished prosperity and good luck in the future work of the organization.
