Between May 1st and 31st Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received 36 cruise ships which brought 72 975 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 61 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 257 905.
Services provided to ships:
• Fresh water bunkering – 9 552 m3
• Garbage collection – 530 m3
• Waste-waters reception – 3880 m3
In the indicated period 32 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.
On May 7th the ex-president of the World Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, the current president of the Brazilian Academy of Medicine Dr. Renato Maia Guimarães arrived to St. Petersburg on a cruise ship “Celebrity Silhouette” with an unofficial visit.
On May 24th during the meeting the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg’s and CLIA’s representatives discussed the relevant issues on the ecological safety of cruise shipping in Baltic sea including the prohibition of discharge of sewage into the open sea.
On May 27th the representatives of "PP of SPb MF" PLC participated in the "Organization of passenger water transport" Round Table during the International Innovative Forum of Public Transport “Smart Transport” in the congress and exhibition center "Expoforum".
This month's highest quantity of ships in Port was 5, on May 13th.
