The ex- Vice-President of Nigeria Alex Ekwueme arrived to St. Petersburg

On July 29th, the ex- Vice-President of Nigeria Alex Ekwueme arrived to St. Petersburg on a cruise ship «Seven Seas Voyager » with an unofficial visit. The “PP of SPb MF” PLC representatives welcomed the guest of honor at the Port.
Alex Ekwueme after graduating a college became one of the first Nigerians to gain the grant for scholarship in the United States America where he attended the University of Washington and obtained his master's degree in architecture. In London he proceeded with education and earned degrees in sociology, history, philosophy and law.
In the career beginning Alex Ekwueme made a success as an architect. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Institute of Architects.
Alex Ekwueme founded Educational Trust Fund for sponsoring the education of several hundred youths to universities in Nigeria and abroad.
Firstly became famous as architect Alex Ekwueme became the first elected Vice-President of Nigeria in 1979.
He has been honoured with the Order of the Republic Nigeria, second highest national honours of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).
