An opening ceremony of the first stone of the future monument dedicated to the sailors-mine sweepers? deed of the Baltic fleet

On July 28th the “PP of SPb MF” PLC representatives participated at the An opening ceremony of the first stone of the future monument dedicated to the sailors-mine sweepers´ deed of the Baltic fleet in Kronshtadt.
The monument will immortalize a deed of sailors that during the Second World War and 10 years after conducted mine sweeping operations. For their efforts the water area was cleared of mines.
The names of the sailors passed away during the World War II will be carved on the monument.
The event organized by the the Administration of St. Petersburg was also attended by representatives of the Committee of the Government of St. Petersburg, organizations of navy veterans and relevant organizations.
