Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received a record amount of passengers

Today, on 8
th of June, a record number of passengers have arrived at Passenger port of St. Petersburg on board of six cruise ships – 17 911. Thus, the record of two years ago was broken when the Port welcomed 14 568 cruise tourists.
The ships Viking Sea of Viking Cruises, Norwegian Getaway of Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Fantasia of MSC Cruises, Regal Princess of Princess Cruises, Vision of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas of Royal Caribbean International have all visited Passenger port of Saint Petersburg during their Baltic Sea cruises. These six vessels have already made 17 calls at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg in 2017 and are the largest, simultaneously moored at the berths of the Port.
It is worth noting that the first and only specialized passenger port in the North-West of Russia Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg can receive 7 cruise ships and 18 000 tourists per day. In accordance with the applications, during cruise season of 2017 the Port expects more than 240 ship calls and 540,000 passengers, which is the record number within the history of the Port, too.
