From 24th to 30th of July Passenger port of St. Petersburg has received 12 cruise ships which brought 28 417 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 21 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 98 651.
Services provided to ships:
Fresh water bunkering – 1 481 m3
Garbage collection – 202 m3
Waste-waters reception – 1 249 m3
In the indicated period 2 helicopter have used the helipad of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.
On 26th of July St. Petersburg became Top-Rated Baltic & Scandinavia Destination for the second year in a row according to the leading cruise reviews and information site Cruise Critic. This cruise season is expected to be a record-breaking one, with 247 calls and more than 540,000 passengers visiting.
On July 29th cruise ship Columbus operated by Cruise & Maritime Voyages made its inaugural call to Passenger port of Saint Petersburg. Columbus was built in 1989, refurbished in April 2017. It has 11 decks, 775 cabins, 247 m length and capacity of carrying 1400 passengers on board. The crew is 514 persons. Traditionally a welcome plaque ceremony was arranged on board the vessel. Until the end of cruise season 2017 Columbus will visit the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg 2 times.
