Week 37 of 2017 – results (11.09.2017 - 17.09.2017)

From 11th to 17th of September Passenger port of St. Petersburg has received 5 cruise ships which brought 11 635 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 8 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 35 052. 

Services provided to ships:
Fresh water bunkering – 178 m3
Garbage collection – 165 m3
Waste-waters reception – 0 m3

In the indicated period 6 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.

During the period from 6th to 8th September 2017, Passenger Port of St. Petersburg jointly with representatives of the tourist industry of St. Petersburg took part in the largest European cruise exhibition Seatrade Europe 2017. Within the framework of the international exhibition, a number of business meetings took place between the management of “PP SPb MF” PLC and representatives of leading cruise companies and associations such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Viking Ocean Cruises, CLIA Europe, during which the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation and development of the cruise industry in the Baltic Sea region and in St. Petersburg, in particular. This year at the international exhibition Cruise Europe one of the most significant events was the "St. Petersburg City Day", which was held on September 6th at the stand of the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg.

On September 15th, 2017 at Passenger Port of St. Petersburg the annual sports festival "Marine mile-2017" was organized by the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of St. Petersburg and the Administration of the Vasileostrovsky District. At Passenger Port St. Petersburg, as the central venue of the event, as well as in the waters of the Gulf of Finland and the mouth of the Smolenka River, there were competitions in various sports disciplines, track and field athletics disciplines, weights lifting, armwrestling, tug-of-war, sails races, a dragon boat race, people's rowing and much more. 
The sports festival was timed to coincide with the 280th anniversary of one of the oldest districts of the Northern capital.

Maximum number of vessels at the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg this week – 2 vessels on September 12th, 14th and 15th.
