«Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Fasade» PLC was awarded the «Best stevedoring company of 2014» in the passenger operations category

Every year since 2005 Russian Commercial Port Association holds the “Best stevedoring company” contest and chooses the winners in different categories. “Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg “Marine Fa?ade” PLC was named the best company of 2014 in the passenger operations category. This is the second such award for “PP SPB MF” PLC – the company won the first one in 2012.

Among the criteria for assessment of contest participants in the passenger operations category is the volume of passenger turnover and its growth throughout the reporting period. During the 2014 cruise season Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received 234 cruise and 5 ferry vessels that brought 483 456 passengers to St. Petersburg. In 2015 Passenger port of Saint Petersburg is planning to receive 486 405 passengers.

Earlier at the 2009 Seatrade Europe exhibition Passenger port of Saint Petersburg was awarded the “Transit Port of the Year” by Seatrade Insider Cruise Awards, and in 2011 at the Cruise Shipping Miami exhibition won the Dream World Cruise Destinations magazine award in the “Most Improved Port Facilities” category.
