13.05.2014 cruise vessel Legend of the Seas called Passenger Port of St. Petersburg Marine Facade for the first time.

13th May cruise vessel Legend of the Seas operated by the company "Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises" entered the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg for the first time. During her 7 day cruise motorship will visit the largest ports of the Baltic Sea: Copenhagen, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm.

Cruise operator «Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises» has more than fourty-year history of its development and offers cruise tours in 270 cities in 72 countries on 6 continents.

Distinction of the Legend of the Seas is that this is the first class ship Vision, which features an excellent overview of the oceans from interior space by increasing the area of windows. Also ships of this class are among the fastest in the world: a top speed of 27 knots. Legend of the Seas was built in 1995 at the shipyard «Chantiers de l'Atlantique» in France. Length of the liner is 264 meters, passenger capacity - up to 2076 persons, flag - Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

On occasion of the first call on board of the Legend of the Seas 13th May ceremony of plaques exchange took place. The next visit of the vessel is scheduled on 28th May.
