Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg Visited by Representatives of Royal Caribbean International
12 July 2018
Today, the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg was visited by Adam Goldstein, Deputy Chairman of the Board, and Jorge Delgado, Vice President for Global Business Development, from Royal Caribbean International. During the visit, the guests had a glimpse of the port’s infrastructure and learnt about its history.
The business meeting involved the port's leadership and the top management of Inflot Worldwide. The main issues discussed at the meeting embraced the prospects for berthing new large vessels in the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg, including LNG ships, the potential conditions for implementing the project to create an O&D cruise port at the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg and the options for using the adjacent territory as part of the Center for International Cruise Tourism to be developed in St. Petersburg.
Adam Goldstein, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Royal Caribbean International, took his first visit to the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg, while Jorge Delgado had been already welcomed in the Port during his working visit in February this year and they had noted the readiness of Royal Caribbean International to seriously study the option for Quantum and Freedom class ships to call St. Petersburg.
At the end of the meeting, the Director General of the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg presented the guests with memorable gifts, including the Zabivaka (the ‘Goalscorer’), the main mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
