Today, on July 4th, the Caribbean Princess cruise ship has visited Passenger port of Saint Petersburg for the first time. 4 000 passengers and crew have arrived to St. Petersburg aboard the ship.
Caribbean Princess, which belongs to the largest cruise company Carnival Corporation and plc, has come to St. Petersburg during its first Baltic Sea cruise of 2015. The 14 day journey also includes Gdynia, Zeebrugge, Copenhagen, Southampton, Stockholm, Tallinn and Helsinki.
The total length of the ship is 290 meters, capacity – 3 080 people, cruising speed – 22 knots.
To mark the maiden call a plaque exchange ceremony was held aboard the ship. Two calls of Caribbean Princess are planned for the 2015 cruise season at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg.
The vessels AIDAdiva and Marina are also in Port today.
