A delegation from Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard visited Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg

Today, August 8, 2018, a delegation from Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard Joint-stock Company headed by company’s CEO, V. A. Seredokho visited Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg.
As part of their visit, representatives of shipbuilding company presented their new project, a passenger catamaran Grifon intended for transportation of 150 passengers, which provides high-speed sea shipping at the distance of 1000 sea miles. State-of-the-art, innovative technologies were used in the development of catamaran; it can boast its unique hull, which is entirely made of composite materials made in Russia.
The parties discussed perspective use of catamaran for servicing the capacities of Marine Façade complex of river lines, which has been designed in the vicinity of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg. After the project execution, river vessels are supposed to bring tourists coming in cruise liners to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg, along inland waterways to the major sightseeing of Saint Petersburg and suburbs (Petergof, Strelna), which will significantly reduce the load on the road network of city.
Also, the discussion between the parties led to settlement of signing a partnership agreement.
