The First Call of the Norwegian Spirit Cruise Liner at the Passenger Port

On August 14, 2019, Norwegian Spirit, a ship of Norwegian Cruise Line, called for the first time at the Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg. The ship’s passenger capacity is 2,018 passengers; its length is 268 m. Built in 1998, the ship was fully updated in 2017. Its 13 decks offer passengers entertainments of all kinds of. Onboard the cruise ship, the following services are available for travelers: 14 restaurants, 11 bars, a casino, a theater, a basketball court, spa, and fitness centers. On the upper deck, there is a swimming pool – Tivoli, decorated in the style of the ancient Roman city of the same name. Particular attention is paid to the Norwegian Spirit’s interior where classic style echoes Asian motifs and works of art are located not only in the art gallery but also in the cruise ship’s corridors, halls, and stairways.
By tradition, the liner hosted a plaque exchange ceremony between the Passenger Port representatives and the master of the ship Stefan Nordberg.
