March 3rd, 2016 at the Consulate General of Great Britain was held a round table discussion of topical issues work with cruise tourists arriving in St. Petersburg.
The event was attended by members of the US consular agencies, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, representatives of federal and municipal authorities, as well as organizations working in the field of cruise tourism. Participants spoke about the results of the 2015 tourist season and discussed the prospects for 2016. St. Petersburg representatives of the Development Committee spoke about the implementation of projects that aim to promote the tour, including the instructions for the safety of tourists and service "angels" - the first tourist-information service of the city. The sides discussed the procedure for interaction in case of emergency situations of foreign nationals arriving on cruise ships.
It is planned that the next meeting at the round table will be held in September 2016.
