An exercise on implementation of the Transport Security Plan was conducted at Passenger port of St Petersburg

th at “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC were held emergency exercises in case of antiterrorist and fire security threat and act of unlawful interference in the Port.
According to the Transport Security Plan for the “Marine terminal of “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC” the staff of “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC has practiced the appropriate actions to be taken in cases of direct and immediate security threats. The order of notifying the competent authorities in such cases was practiced as well, and timing of actions was checked.
In the emergency exercise the representatives of Russia’s Federal Security Service, St. Petersburg water transport police, St. Petersburg fire service, border control and customs authorities participated.
Due to exercise results the Plan activities were implemented completely, the staff was given instructions and all objectives were achieved.
