The team of "PP SPb MF" PLC took part in the charity mini-football tournament

The football team of "PP SPb MF" PLC took part in the international charity mini-football tournament "II Cup of sea and river transport", which was held in Moscow from 15th to 16
th of April with the support of Rosmorrechflot and FSUE "Rosmorport".
This tournament traditionally gathers representatives of the marine and river industry from all over the country to identify the strongest team in mini-football. The participants of the competitions not only demonstrate themselves on the football pitch, but also support the orphanages.
This year 16 teams participated in the tournament, including sea and river ports, logistics companies, as well as specialized mass media.
It is worth noting that the Cup became the debut away tournament for the still young team of "PP SPb MF" PLC, which is probably why the first day of competition group stage did not bring the team from St. Petersburg some positive results on the field.
However, after going to silver playoffs, the team managed to pull themselves together and show strong character, as well as the will to win, reaching the semifinals, where they lost in a hard-fought struggle to Rosmorrechflot team.
The match for the 3rd place between "PP SPb MF" PLC and FSBI " Black Sea MPA" was held in severe weather conditions, the game was accompanied by snow and rain. However, despite this, the teams showed a decent level of football, and the intrigue in the fight for the prize place was maintained until the last minutes. Five minutes before the end of the match team FSBI " Black Sea MPA" scored (1:0).
For the outstanding game and sports skills the team of the Passenger port of St. Petersburg was awarded the honorary prize "Team - Discovery of the Tournament".
"PP SPb MF" PLC" thanks colleagues for the good game, and also congratulates all prize-winners of the tournament.
The next tournament for "PP SPb MF" PLC" will take place in St. Petersburg in a week.
