Kotka Mayor visited the Passenger Port

On May 31, within the framework of cooperation between PP SPb MF, PLC and the City of Kotka (Finland), representatives of the Kotka municipality in the person of the Mayor Esa Sirviö; Terhi Lindholm,  the Director for Development; David Lindström, the Director of the Agency for Regional Development Kotka-Hamina “Cursor Oy”; S.S. Troshkov, the Head of the Department for Projects with Russia of the Agency for Regional Development Kotka-Hamina “Cursor Oy”, paid an official visit to the  Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg.

     

The official meeting was devoted to discussing the cooperation between the City and the Port of Kotka. The Kotka Mayor Esa Sirviö took his office as Mayor of Kotka two months ago. The Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg has long cooperated with Finnish representatives of Administrations, public and private companies.

     

The visit included a guided tour of the Port organized for the Kotka representatives; the publication of the Port’s plans to establish their own shipping company, and a presentation of the opportunities of Research-and-Production Enterprise “Radar mms”, JSC and the Central Design Office for Hydrofoil Ships named after R.E. Alekseev.
Within the business part, the ship agent of Inflot Worldwides Rus, LLC organized a guided tour for guests to the Serenade of the Seas cruise ship.

     

The Passenger Port cooperates with the Hamina Kotka Port under the project for the reconstruction of the sea crossing point in the Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg under the cross-border cooperation program “Russia – Southeast Finland” 2014–2020.
