PP SPb MF, PLC took part in the official opening of Information Business Center of Saint Petersburg in Hamburg

A representative of PP SPb MF, PLC within the delegation from Saint Petersburg headed by Vice Governor S. N. Movchan, took part in the official visit to Hamburg, Germany PP SPb MF, PLC took part in the official opening of Information Business Center of Saint Petersburg in Hamburg. As part of the ceremony, representatives of Saint Petersburg Government and Hamburg exchanged welcome speeches and stressed the necessity to implement wide information cooperation in different fields. The main objectives of Information Business Center of Saint Petersburg in Hamburg is the establishment of positive image of Saint Petersburg as the significant for Europe industrial, research, culture and tourism center of international level in Hamburg and adjacent territorries, support of Saint Petersburg companies, as well as of professional associations and all business community in whole in the search of promising partners in Hamburg, entering into contracts with German companies and in increasing export volume of goods and services. Apart from that, the Center sets objectives for distribution of information about Saint Petersburg, including the information about applicable reginal law, economic potential, existing and future investment projects in order to attract foreign investments to the economics of city, as well as strives for attracting businessmen and companies from Hamburg to the market of Saint Petersburg to implement investment projects.
As part of event, negotiations with the representatives of ship operator TUI Cruises T. Oleman and the management of Cruise Gate Hamburg S. Rugyer were held regarding perspectives of cooperation in the arrangement of winter cruises with calling to Hamburg and Saint Petersburg ports, as well as using port infrastructure during low season.
It is worth reminding, that PP SPb and MF, PLC signed Memorandum of understanding with Hamburg Port. Priority areas of cooperation include development of cruise tourism attractiveness, including cruises arrangement in low seasons, ensuring of the most attractive conditions for sea passengers, by developing infrastructure of Ports, improving the quality and extending the list of services provided. Also, Memorandum involves the increase of intensity of information partnership, experience exchange, joint participation in events concerning the development of cruise tourism and other areas of cooperation.
