The delegation of the Custom authority of the Kingdom of the Netherlands visited the passenger port of St. Petersburg

On October 26, 2018, a delegation of the Customs authority of the Kingdom of the Netherlands made a business visit to the Passenger port of St. Petersburg. During the visit the representatives of the North-Western Customs Directorate of The Federal Customs Service of Russia made a report on the activities of the customs offices in the zone of responsibility of the Directorate, including the Shkiperskiy Customs point located in the Passenger port of St. Petersburg.
Representatives of the Shkiperskiy Customs point of the Baltic Customs made a report on the organization of radiation control in the Passenger port of St. Petersburg with the demonstration of the "Yantar-1P" stationary radiation control system actuation and the localization of the radiation source by portable radiation control devices. The presentation the customs technical means for monitoring fissile and radioactive materials (FRM), the complex of computer-controlled monitoring of the FRM movement on the basis of customs stationary radiation control system "Yantar" and its functionality was also made.
Representatives of the delegation got acquainted with the history of the Passenger port of St. Petersburg and the development of the alluvial area, existing infrastructure opportunities and prospective development projects, examined passenger terminals and discussed topical issues of customs control.
