Representatives of Finnlines Visited the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg

On May 17, 2019, the delegation of the representatives of the Finnlines shipping line, part of Finnlines a Grimaldi Group, visited the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg. The delegation consisted of Lumme Hannu Mikael, Director of Finnlines, Commercial Representative of the Shipowner in Russia, and Majorana Blasco, Finnlines Supervisor in the Territorial Waters of Germany in the North Sea and the Shipping Lines of the Russian Direction.
The guests were familiarized with the history of the Passenger port of St. Petersburg and its alluvial territory, as well as told about the existing infrastructure opportunities and perspective development projects.
During the meeting the representatives of Finnlines familiarized with the project concerning the reconstruction of the marine permanent multilateral Russian Federation State border checkpoint at the seaport Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg, which is being implemented under the South-East Finland – Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. Finnlines, in turn, announced own plans to build a new fleet. Following the meeting, the representatives of both parties expressed their readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
