Delegation of the Republic of Malta Visited the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg

On March 16, 2019, a delegation of the Republic of Malta visited the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg. The delegation was headed by Mr. Gavin Gulia, Chairman of the Tourism Administration of the Republic of Malta. Also, the delegation included the representatives of Dhalia, largest investment fund in Malta. Radio Guide LLC was considered to be the host.
The guests were familiarized with the history of the Passenger port of St. Petersburg and its alluvial territory, as well as told about the existing infrastructure opportunities and perspective development projects. Special attention was paid to the draft initiative for the introduction of electronic visas and the ensuring of the possibility of 72-hour visa-free stay for all tourists arriving in St. Petersburg with the aircraft for their further departure with the cruise ship along the Baltic Sea.
The large passenger port of Malta is located in the city of Valletta. According to the fact that the Cruise Port of Valletta is not only the transit port, but also the end port for many European companies, and annually accepts ships, the passenger traffic reaches 700,000 passengers per year.
