Delegation of the Port of Tallinn Visited the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg

On March 16, 2019, a delegation of the Port of Tallinn visited the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg. The delegation was headed by Mr. Valdo Calm, Chairman of the Board and the Director General of the Port of Tallinn. The guests were familiarized with the history of the Passenger port of St. Petersburg and its alluvial territory, as well as told about the existing infrastructure opportunities and perspective development projects. The representatives of the parties exchanged their operational experience and discussed the prospects for the development of cruise shipping in the Baltic Sea and various projects for the development of the port infrastructure during the meeting.
AS Tallinna Sadam is the largest passenger and cargo port complex in Estonia. The state-owned AS Tallinna Sadam includes six ports: Vanasadam (largest passenger port of Estonia), the Yacht Port of Vanasadam, Muuga (largest deep-water cargo port of Estonia), the South Port of Paldiski, the Port of Palyassaare, and the Port of Saaremaa.
