Today there are four cruise ships at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg – Viking Star, which has made its maiden call to the Port, AIDAdiva, AIDAmar and Costa Luminosa. The four vessels have brought over 10 000 people to St. Petersburg, including crew members.

Viking Star belongs to the Viking Ocean Cruises company, which is a division of Viking Cruises – one of the largest river cruise operators. Viking Cruises’ fleet consists of over 50 river vessels that sail in Egypt, Europe, Russia and the countries of South-East Asia.

Between May 18 and 24 2015 Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received 10 cruise ships and 20,496 passengers.

On May 20 the Serenade of the Seas cruise ship has visited St. Petersburg for the first time. The customary plaque exchange ceremony was held.

This week's highest quantity of ships in Port was 6, on May 19.

Serenade of the Seas, which belongs to the cruise company Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruises, has made her visit to St. Petersburg during her first 2015 Baltic Sea cruise. The 7-day journey also includes Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn and Helsinki.

Today on May 19 there are six cruise ships at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg - AIDAmar (Carnival Corporation & plc), Costa Luminosa (Carnival Corporation & plc), Marco Polo (Global Cruise Lines Ltd.), MSC Orchestra (MSC Cruises), Queen Elizabeth (Carnival Corporation & plc) and Regal Princess (Carnival Corporation & plc). Today, May 15, there are three cruise ships at Passenger port of Saint Petersburg – AIDAdiva that has come to the Port for the first time, Costa Pacifica and Norwegian Star. The three vessels have brought over 10 000 people to St. Petersburg, including crew members.

The 12-day Baltic Sea cruise of AIDAdiva started in Warnemünde. Apart from St. Petersburg the cruise includes Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Gdynia and Copenhagen.

AIDAdiva belongs to the largest cruise company Carnival Corporation & plc and is a sister ship of AIDAbella and AIDAluna, Sphinx class, and a modified version of other vessels of the company – AIDAblu и AIDAsol. T

Today, on May 13th, at Passenger Port of St. Petersburg two cruise ships - Eurodam and Saga Sapphire.

Saga Sapphire, owned by the British cruise line Saga Shipping, carried out her first call into the port in the navigation of 2015. The ship is visiting Passenger Port of St. Petersburg over the past five years, in 2015 she will make three calls.

Eurodam has left from the port of Copenhagen on May 8th and has already been to ports of Kiel and Tallinn on its way to St. Petersburg. Today, on May 8, just before the day of celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has at once received three cruise ships that have never come to the Port before – AIDAcara, Celebrity Silhouette and Regal Princess. Today, 06th of May, as part of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, Veterans of the Great Patriotic War as well as pupils of St. Petersburg schools and representatives of «PP SPb MF» PLC visited an open-air museum «Nevsky Pyatachok» - a place of fierce battles of Soviet troops against German-fascist aggressors.

Visitors had a chance to find out more about the history of combat activity on the site, get acquainted with the work of archeologists and restorers, and see around the exhibition of weapons and military equipment.

Today, on May, 2nd the summer navigation started at Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg "Marine Fa?ade". The first call this year was made by Costa Pacifica, Carnival Corporation that brings 3 000 passengers on board. This is the first of seven Costa Pacifica calls to St. Petersburg scheduled for 2015. In total, since 2011 the vessel has made 21 calls to Marine Fa?ade.

The cruise ship started the trip on April 28th in Port of Kiel and then visited Stockholm and Helsinki. After departure from St. Petersburg on May 3rd she will also attend Tallinn, Klaipeda and Gdyna and complete the cruise at the starting point – Port of Kiel – on May 9th.
