Today, 7th June, 2015, MV Britannia called Passenger port of St. Petersburg for the first time. On board the ship arrived more than 5 000 people, including crew.

Britannia - the largest ship of the cruise line P & O Cruises (subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc). It was launched on March 10, 2015 and refers to vessels of Royal Class, which also includes ships Royal Princess and Regal Princess. She was christened March 11th, 2015 by Her Majesty Elizabeth II. The length of the vessel Britannia is 330 meters, capacity - 3600 passengers, cruising speed - 22 knots.

Starting from May 2nd to May 31st, 2015 Passenger Port of St. Petersburg called 33 cruise ships and visited 70,305 passengers. During this period for the first time the Port called 8 vessels - AIDAcara, AIDAdiva, Celebrity Silhouette, Costa Favolosa, MSC Sinfonia, Regal Princess, Serenade of the Seas and Viking Star.

Maximum quantity of ships in the Port within the navigation period - 6 ships on May 19th.

Between May 25 and May 31 2015 Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received 13 cruise ships and 27 661 passengers.

On May 26 the Viking Star ship of Viking Ocean Cruises has come to St. Petersburg for the first time, on May 27 it was the maiden call of Costa Favolosa, Carnival Corporation & plc, and on May 28 – of MSC Sinfonia, MSC Cruises. The customary plaque exchange ceremony was held aboard the vessels.

On May 31 as part of its world tour for peace the Ocean Dream cruise ship of Japan Grace company has called Passenger port of Saint Petersburg.

Today, May 31st, during the 87th Global Voyage for Peace St. Petersburg visited the ship «Ocean Dream» belonging to Japan Grace cruise company.Voyage is organized by the Japanese non-governmental organization «Peace Boat», the main objectives of which is to strengthen international cooperation in the struggle for peace, human rights and environmental protection.

For the third day in a row Passenger port of Saint Petersburg receives cruise ships that come here for the first time. Today, on May 28, it is the maiden call of MSC Sinfonia that brings over twenty five hundred people aboard, including the crew.

MSC Sinfonia belongs to an Italian cruise company MSC Cruises. Before being acquired by MSC Cruises in 2004 the ship was sailing under the name European Stars and belonged to Festival Cruises – a Greek cruise line.

Interestingly, in January 2015 MSC Sinfonia was reconstructed – a whole section was built into the vessel hull, which has added 193 passenger cabins. Length of the reconstructed ship is 274 meters, ...

Today, May 27, on the Day of the City of St. Petersburg, Costa Favolosa has visited Passenger port of Saint-Petersburg for the first time. Over 5,000 people have arrived aboard the ship, including the crew.

Costa Favolosa belongs to the largest cruise company Carnival Corporation & plc and has come to St. Petersburg during its first Baltic Sea cruise in 2015. The 8 day journey also includes Copenhagen, Rostock, Stockholm and Tallinn.

On May 26 2015 a meeting of the Board of Directors of "Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg "Marine Façade" PLC was held.

The meeting agenda included the issues of the 2014 and the first quarter of 2015 performance reports approval. Also the 2014 annual report and the annual financial statements were provisionally approved.
