18.02.2016 Passenger Port of St. Petersburg hosted contest for throwing sports equipment

February 18 by the initiative of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sport of Vasileostrovsky district on the territory of the Terminal №4 of Passenger Port of St. Petersburg were held sporting events to deliver the standards for throwing sports equipment (grenades).
This event is timed to coincide with an ongoing complex of physical education of the population aimed at the development of mass sports and improvement of the nation under the name of Russian sports complex "Ready for Work and Defence" (RWD).
RWD complex provides preparation for the implementation and immediate execution of the population of different age groups (from 6 to 70 years of age and older) established regulatory requirements for three levels of difficulty, the corresponding gold, silver and bronze insignia "Ready for Work and Defence".
