Representatives of Passenger Port of St. Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC Participated in the Opening of the Fourth Russian-Chinese Business Forum

On June 4, the grand opening of the Fourth Russian-Chinese Business Forum took place at the facilities of the Lenexpo exhibition complex.
The forum is held by Chinese Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in St. Petersburg and the Government of St. Petersburg. ExpoForum International is considered to be the operator. The forum is held annually since 2016 and addresses the global issues of the cooperation between Russia and China. In 2019, the forum is dedicated to the year of the regional cooperation between Russia and China. Evgeny Grigoriev, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, Sergey Voronkov, Director General of ExpoForum International, President of Chinese Business Center, Director General of the Russian-Chinese Business Park, and Chen Zhigang, Executive Chairman of the Association for Research and Development of the One Belt – One Way Strategy spoke at the beginning of the event.
The Commercial Director of the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg took part in the plenary session titled “Regional Cooperation Between Russia and China: Results and Prospects”, showed the presentation on the development projects in order to interest potential investors in the PRC in investing in the infrastructure projects of Passenger Port of St. Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC, and also provided the information on possible plans for their joint implementation.
As a part of the forum, China Is Here, exhibition of art, is opened. It is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. At the exhibition you can see photos showing the legendary moments of the meetings of the leaders of two great countries – the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China, as well as the paintings of 70 Russian and Chinese artists.
On June 5, a number of strategic agreements between Russia and China will be signed.
The Russian-Chinese Business Forum is included in the official program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
